CINCINNATI, OH – November 4, 2008 – Brent Messmer, president of The Matrix Companies, a full-service workers’ compensation claims and risk management company, has been named the 2008 recipient of the Larry Albice Entrepreneurship Award by the Hamilton County Development Co., Inc.
The award recognizes individuals for their drive and spirit to build an entrepreneurial enterprise and for their generosity in sharing success with others through community involvement. Messmer is the eleventh recipient of the award. He will be honored at HCDC’s Annual Business Awards Ceremony and meeting on Thursday, November 6, 2008, at the Wunderland Banquet Facility, 7881 Colerain Ave. The award was established in 1998 in honor of the late Larry Albice, who served on the HCDC Board of Trustees and as Board Chairman, and who played an instrumental role in the initiative that brought about the expansion of the Hamilton County Business Center.
